Flyer Full Program Description Application Form

This fall, the Jewish Dialogue Group will bring together Jewish students at five colleges and universities to talk with each across political differences and to train as dialogue facilitators. Programs will take place at Bryn Mawr College, Columbia University, Haverford College, Temple University, and the University of Pennsylvania. Participants will meet seven times during the semester, once every other week, for two to three hours at a time. Each fellow will receive a $200 stipend.

At each school, we plan to bring together a group of seven to twelve students with a wide range of political perspectives and backgrounds, including both students who are firmly committed to a clear position on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and students who regard themselves as ambivalent, unsure, or confused. We are seeking students who are highly engaged in Jewish life on campus as well as students who are not involved.

If you would like to participate, please fill out the application and return it to us as soon as possible. The programs at Columbia University and Temple University are full. The deadline to apply for the dialogue programs at Bryn Mawr and Haverford is Tuesday, September 12. The deadline to apply for the program at the University of Pennsylvania is Monday, September 18.

You can email us the application or print a copy and mail it to: Jewish Dialogue Group, PO Box 34726, Philadelphia, PA.
